Federally-Mandated Child / Spousal Support System

The South Carolina Department of Social Services officially implemented the federally mandated State Disbursement Unit (SDU) in Charleston County effective Tuesday, April 2, 2019.

After that date, citizens making support payments to the Charleston County Clerk of Court will make payments to the South Carolina State Disbursement Unit and mailed to:
