Judicial Division #judicial_division

The Judicial Division of the Charleston County Sheriff's Office consists of bureaus that involve internal investigations, judicial security and enforcement, specialized units, training, employee assistance, and records available to the public.

Chief Deputy Lewis Burnsed oversees the following areas under the Judicial Division:

  • Judicial Enforcement (Warrants, Therapeutic Transport, Fugitives and Extraditions, U.S. Marshal's Task Force, Duty Officer Support, Crisis Stabilization)
  • Judicial Services (General Sessions, Family Court, Civil Process, Judgments/Executions, Security Services)
  • Judicial Security (General Sessions, Family Court)
